WORKSHOP for MARCH 2013


Ribbon Embroidery with Annette Anderson – Workshop on 16th March

Full payment by 1st. March to: Fibrecrafters, P.O. Box 264 Westcourt. 4870.  or pay at club, or internet banking can be arranged.  Workshop booking is not confirmed until money is paid.
Members $32 and Non-members $45.  
Start time 9.15am for a 9.30am start for those who attended the earlier class and 
perhaps have items they wish to finish or a new project in mind.  
For all others the start time is 9.45am for a 10am start. 
Finish time 3.00pm

REQUIREMENTS FOR SILK RIBBON EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP
FABRIC - 18" square of dupion silk or equivalent fabric.
SILK RIBBON - I know Showgrounds Craft has this. BUT YOU HAVE TO ASK.  If you are buying it from a spool, 1 m of each is plenty. 
4mm width:-  green
                      2 'flower" colours  ie pink, yellow, purple etc
7mm width:-  2 "flower" colours.
THEY DO HAVE SOME VARIEGATED RIBBON.  If you decide on this, one shank of each width will be enough.
THREAD - Bring along your green, and some to match your ribbon.
                  white sewing machine thread
NEEDLES - 1 embroidery needle and 8 or 9.
CHENILLE NEEDLES - You can buy these in a pack of various sizes. 
You really need an 18 and a 22.  If you have a 16, bring that as well.
EMBROIDERY HOOP -  8" or 10".  Please bind the inner hoop with tape.
GENERAL ITEMS - Scissors,   pins,   pencil,   notebook,  lunch,   laughter.                                            GLASSES & needle threader IF req’d.
